Access denied to Maeshafn

The BMC has learned a sign recently appeared at the main access point requesting that climbers do not enter the quarry.

It transpires the site may be subject to a planning application to rework the quarry for aggregates or minerals, and the BMC are therefore looking into the situation.

Responsibility for the quarry resides with a local resident, and the BMC advise climbers to refrain from visiting Maeshafn at the moment
