Avon and Somerset
Vast abandoned limestone quarry above Backwell. On the north side is a nature reserve, run by Backwell Environment Trust. The quarry itself is owned by Lancer Scott. There is no right of access.
This is not a suitable venue for the inexperienced, and the experienced should consider whether it is in the best interests of the nature reserve to venture in.
Restrictions apply from 1 March - 1 July.
Reason: Nesting Birds
