Greenhole Crags

Dow, Coppermines & Eskdale

This series of short outcrops overlooking the boggy hollow of Green Hole give good climbing on clean rock, although some doubtful flakes can still be found, likely a testament to the lack of traffic. A good place to get away from it all.

Parking and Approach

From Cockley Beck a wet path leads up Moasdale over to Lingcove Beck. From here the outcrops can be seen in the valley ahead. Cross the beck and take the easy rising ridge to the left side of the crag.
