Reports have been made of worn maillons on the lower offs at this crag - consider taking gear to replace worn equipment and as always, inspect all in situ gear before committing to it.

NOTE 02/06/2025 - Issue reported with top anchor point for routes Dome of the Thief and Under the Thiefdome (routes 8 & 9 on Rockfax, Roadside quarry). “It is an older Petzl anchor point that has some movement and the edges of the eye are a bit gnarled to the point of potentially chewing up gear. Top bolt looks relatively new but is securing a slightly rusty link of the chain. Bottom bolt securing the anchor is older with a good amount of rust, this may be the cause of the movement on the anchor point.” Take extra care, or avoid these routes if unsure how to safely work around.

Parking and Approach

Best approached from the direction of Horseshe Quarry - to park turn left up a track/road just before the horseshoe bend and there are parking places for a few cars on the left. Walk back to the main road, cross it and the crag is 100m downhill on the opposite side of the road.
