Previously developed quarry which has seen occasional toproping and bouldering over the years. It has been bolted and the climbing is similar to Pex Hill. Remnants of the aviary that have given rise to many bird route names can be seen at the base of the wall. The main walls can remain damp after rain but could be a pleasant summer venue, receiving sun late afternoon. Access authorisation is not clear but possibly tolerated, low profile advised.

May 2022: the quarry is currently very overgrown and has been behind a locked gate for some time. There have been plans for a cleanup and it's understood the park rangers have no objection to climbing in principle.
Parking and Approach
The park lies off the A58, between Prescot and St Helens. From Prescot take a left into Grosvenor Road shortly after the Spar, signposted Taylor Park. From St Helens, Grosvenor Road is on the right shortly after the "Bird ith' Hand" pub. Park at the end of Grosvenor Road or follow signs into the park, small car park. Walk into the park and veer left, skirting the lake on the higher path, past a lakeside building and straight over a path crossroads. The quarry entrance is down a sunken driveway ahead. Current access unknown.
